Korean Hostage ? Pity or expectedT Tuesday, July 31, 2007
The korean hostage seriously are making world headlines after being capture by the Teleban due to the exchange of some high profile prisoner again. Reason of kidnap, dont bother talking about as we all know its the same old story especially after sept 11 2001.
But I'm more focus on to the korean hostage. Many of us are praying and hoping that they all can come through alive and are pressuring the korean governtment to help them. But what I'm really thinking is that this korean should have expected it.
They left Korea for the now famous Afghanistan for some volunteer work, but did they told any authorize people there. If they had inform the authority, they would not have taken the route that is listed as a danger zone and this will lower the probability of being kidnap. Next, informing the authority would have ensure greater security like even have soldiers to protect them.
Next, personally, they should have expected it, its like walking into a building with poor infrastructure knowing that it may just collaspe. They went to that country and should have expected that anything negative will just happen. They went with a good heart and mind, they were brave and should be given a commendation but now they had the world worrying for them.
Therefore, its important to have a set of good thoughts like these Korean had but its important to know how should you approach in doing something. And whats more, if you are going to a war zone nation, be prepare for all this even with high security even though the security will lower the risk of getting caught.
But then, let's just hope that no more lives will be taken and they will be back safely. :)
My life today.
