Overnight to kinda "look after " the funeral on sat nite. While there were my other cousins too. Basicaly we just stay there and chat up, had ba chor mee and slack and relight the big joss stick. It was kinda nice catching up with my cousins though, been a long time since we did that but it was sad considering the location was a funeral.
I just realise that all those relighting of the big joss stick can only be done by people of the same generation or younger generation of the decease so since we are of same generation so they kinda need us there as my aunts and uncles all cannot do the re-lighting. Some chinese tradition though.
The funeral was actually beside my old block in Pasir Ris, so I kinda went up to the 10 th floor and walk along the corridor, I kinda miss the place alot. I mean that wasmy habitat for the first 14 years of my life which were quite memorable and I remeber it to be haunted but nothing harmful.
