Sembawang Sec SChool campsT Sunday, November 4, 2007
After 1 month, Sembawang sec camp is finally over.Overall, the camp was really fun, meeting new instructors like Jim, Sandra, Lynn and some others.
Class 2A1
Took 2A1, Was initially very impressive when they were doing their flag design and thought, it should not be a big problem handling this class cause flag designing is normaly one of the most troublesome and slow activity.

Basically for the team, I'm most impress by the malay guyz and Kai Ting for the girls side, they are a bunch of spirited group who can acutaly influnce their team to excel better. But as they are still learning the ropes, its normaly the small little issue that will make the task dificult like being resiliance, taking initiative. But sure do Ridwahn , Faiz, KaiTing. This 3 are indeed my star campers for this class. Just improve and learn more. You wil be great :)
Typically some are the empty vessel, you can chat alot with them, it can be very comical to chat with them but they dont do anything at all, despite attempt to make them realise they have to do something not for themselves but the class as well.
But to the plus point, I thought the campfire was quite nicely done but again ,if only, they hadnt waste so much time,I'm confident of a much better performance.
At the end of the day, I was thinking should I change my method in dealing with them or is it just them that this method did not really work. I dont know, but it do work with other camp I took. Maybe I should just see how the group of student are.
Conclusion for Sembawang Camp : I'm glad to have leaders camper and making them realise but probably I could have do more to gel the class up.

Went for Mee Toh school campfire on friday. Met new peeps again like Tracy, Hsien Chuan and seeing some other older instructor like Mojo Pillay Azri, they are like the king of Jokes la. It was damn fun and yea, the dining hall was said to be very clean on the last day. I'm proud of it.
I think school culture really plays a part in the kind of student, as in the case of the 2 school I seen.Mojo and me were like disturbing people in this camp, poking them and making them not realise who poked them but most of the time, it looked Mojo was the one so this show I got the innocent face Mee Toh was more discipline whereas the others are more to those who think they are mature but seriously are peanut, only the few can see the value and importance in the things they do.
