Comeback camp ,CCKSS SEC2 CampT Thursday, April 3, 2008
Finally I am back in camp and this time was for CCKSS sec2.
Spend the night at yaoxin place with treviz and cherie before heading down to Lot1 for breadfast and proceeding on to Jbac.
Day1.
To start with, haha my mirror was Jolene and we got class 2.9. Gave them the name Mickey because 2 girls in the grp got mickey mouse sleeping bag. For us,there were no meal duties so we were assigned to clean the toilet for 2 days. First day, had GS,LE and abs with the students. There were 2 lanes for ABS and somehow it was quick, they cleared the activity quickly and soon we were preparing campfire while waiting for the zipline team. After that, had kidnap in the night as usual and lady luck was smiling and we got 2nd.
MSG FOR YUANSHAN : HAHAHA, Next time, Dont Hao Lian after you got the first key horrrr. hahaha. Joking Joking
Day2
Basically we were at CRC and CP for the whole morning, it was damn tiring as we were under the scorching sun while belaying so naturaly,we were perspiring like mad but once again, while waitin for their classmate to climb, mickey did their campfire prep again so we save alot of time in the planning side.
After lunch it was kayaking, CFP and Nature rumble. Kayaking was fun but I couldnt be part of it due to my leg. Anyway, I got one of the student who got to be up there too for some reason so kinda chatted with her for a bit.
Campfire prep time, they wasted so much time for making themself wet, it kinda irritate me cause I was still thinking where should I do my campfire prep cause they have wet shorts and there they go, making themselve wet. Luckily they had planned the performance bit by bit during the process so it was down to reharsing. Thanks the peeps, you know who you are for the preparations you made. :P
Put up the performance at night, it was a job well done beside the small little part when Low was halted due to technical problems. Luckily, we won copycat and kinda hype them up. Veron speech make lots of them cry and then had a bit of talk with the team as well.
Day3
HOME SWEET HOME :)
My personal thoughts for the camp.
I had quite a number of first time in the camp.
They were
1) Mirroring someone for a 2nd time and it was Jolene, I never mirror anyone 2 times since last year.
2) Had test with Jody, first time as well.
3) Had to stay back to clean the place again.
For the class level, it would been perfect if all of them were much enthu, despite having small talks most of the chinese guyz,they still did not improve much. Maybe they are sec2 and typical chinese guy, so maturity was still lacking in them But lucky the cheer were louder during the performance. The malay guyz were fantastic and this include Bing and my fellow Monkey for helping me alot in the abseiling as well and in crc.The girls were mostly great and enthu and I guess they were abit irritated during the planning for campfire but job well done :).
Many of them said I still wasnt myself in this camp,the hype level and in terms of taking the cohort was lacking. But for me, in this camp,my main objective was about my own group,not much on cohort,I wana adapt myself back to camp mode first. I guess still abit lacking though but hope 2.9 had great fun with me and Jolene in the house.
Next camp Tangling Sec from 9th-11th Finally Eunice camp again after Juying pri sch last year. HAHA, My aim is to bring myself back to the Rendall who is super hyper in front of the whole cohort as well. And I am confident I can do that. :)
