Maha Bodhi School Camp
Had MBS camp from the 16th-18th april in Jbac again. Heard so many stuff about what happen in Jbac just before this camp and I though Jody was going to give us hell but luckily somehow she was nice except for Mr Last camp aka my fellow first camp instructor Terence Wong putting his shoe on the rack but it was just a short talk and he wasnt there as he was doing his nature rumble.
It was nice taking Group 4 aka 4 ROX. The guyz were abit quite hesistant calling this as their team name and they were often putting down the team but what would you expect as they are still 11 years old kids who still never agrees with the female campers except for one particular guy who confesse to the whole world for liking another student. PRIMARY 5 Kid only. Anyway, at night dring debrief manage to actually ask them the serious question which make them ponder and think. I guess it became abit more emotional and that's when their real feeling start to come, though they dont show much but you know from what they say.
Day2 was our campfire stuff and thankfully manage to clear all of them at least in doing the zipline as well as having everyone to try doing CRC at least once, in fact everyone went once only. It was quite tough doing belaying cause we had to like push them along so that its much easier for them and we knew we had to rush as some of our slot were delayed due to rain.So us, instructors, had to really belay fast and also still note all the safety issue and acutally I find the student are more obedient while in the CRC area even though some wer playing with stone.
Campfire was great, doing tarzan and Jane, I would love not to be involve in dancing but I only dance the full song 2 or 3 times with them, so I feel I had to perform. It was great, really nice. :) Being both male and female. Had the peformance recorded, will post on youtube and here as well.
Anyway, Terence finally had his last camp, Jeremy he came in as well. He was tao pok by us then also being poured water and abit of building house on him also known as pinching nipples. It really brought us back to the days with Clementi Woods Sec sch, where Jer He,Terence and me had our first ever camp and from then onwards,we maintain great friendship and seriously ,we never had any huge argument with each other before.
