Tanglin Secondary School Camp 9th-11th April
Reached TangLin Sec the earliest and realise that Clementi Woods Sec which was my maiden camp last year was along the stretch of road. Anyway, the moment I reach the school, I felt it had a prestige in them but due to what I know from people,the student are quite normal.
Was introduce to my group and the starting part in school, was kinda irritating as the hall was conjested and people shouting here and there , so I am not too in the mood to ask my house to shout as well but we still had some. And get to know some of my groupies too and of cause my most prominent Joker Shawn and another 2 who ask me to keep stuff for them.
Anyway, along the way, get to know more about the student and my student leader J-Ing had been great together with Rena,they are quite hyper.
First day was super tiring, had 3 hours of CRC under the scorching sun. Imagine how dark I became, In fact, its much more darker than my already tanned skin. It was indeed a big challenge but at least I cleared every single on up, so even though it was CAT1 on the next day, I was glad everyone tried. Had Kidnap and WE WON. LUCKY LUCKY :)
Next day had quite a nice schedule of CFP, kayaking and GS. Been a long time since I kayak so had alot of problem trying to move forward using a bandit. Campfire prep was abit slow with them being to only finalize everything later in the day since it was CAT 1 after lunch.
The performance was great with their own Chori Chori and the spirit of the school was simply fantastic. The teachers and Mr Wan were really nice people with their soft approach to their student which I think is successful, you can see the student are more open up to their teachers and it was hilarous to be with them especially hearing them and of course the youtube video which Mr Wan was talking about.
It was great being with my SEXY PUI.,the enthusiam could be much higher for all 3 days if you all want. The performance was great, the cheers and everything were done by you without our help. Therefore, even you may not have won the best, but you can be proud for the performance is truely belong to all of you.
What is a leader ?
A leader is one that know when to lead and when to serve. A leader should not be individualistic.Leaders should make decision base on the benefit of the group. He must also know that a good decision doesnt means a popular decision. So decide on what is right. Treat all issue as a challenge.
