DUNMAN HIGH SCHOOL
YEAR2 LEVEL CAMP
13-16 MAY 2008

DAY1
Met my group at Dunman High. The first time I saw them, I thought it may be abit boring and with so many new instructors coming now, I was stress cause we had to guide them as well. But less on that and more to my group. It was quite a rush in school as we got to rush to the bus and started to introduce ourslve, which is me and my mirror huiqi in the bus we move towards marina pier. Oh yea, had this very friendly teacher known as Mr Han and he was a nice guy.
Anyway, we reach st john island and had some cheers fight and seriously, WE OWNED majorA even though most of their group reach. Oh yea, group 9 was Garung and 10 was GUNI :P .I had roti prata for fairfield and garung runi for DHS.
Had amusing race the whole day and I dun find it that amusing but more of a bit endurance test especially with running around st john and doing monster inc which was the toughest among the rest but PEOPLE, I'm proud that all of you did it as a team and almost caught up the team which started way earlier than you. :P Anyway, had kidnap with the person being tied infront of the others.
Had sentry anyway for day1 night.

Day2
It was a rainy day. We had like campfire prep for like 4hours and I'm glad that it was not in vain, they had their wonderful plot which make me laugh like there is no tomorrow and of course to MR YOU LONG who said "if you wanna get a cute wife like me" . haha ,totally burst out into laughter. Yup, had some issue in the morning in the team and they are quite unwilling to open up but luckily as time pass, it got better. Had dry rafting so abit of actions before day2 end was great and finish off with a candle war at night before light out at 10.30pm. First day was 11pm.

Day3
Started the day with gladiators and yea, had to learn the mass dance of DHS with GET HIGH by F,I.R and then taught them para para. It was really fun.
The days have been quite standard as time pass. We ended all the activites with MLC, even though my team got one of the lowest but at least everyone did played a part and enjoyed as one big whole. Winning isnt everything, to win ,i can get my best players for MLC but its that the outcome I want, HELL NOOOOO.
Campfire started out on a high really high and garung guni was the first up and I'm glad,they entertained the rest. And we had Lian-ing after that but it went down after that with most of the team doing almost similar plot of life in camp. Quite emo at night after debrief but thanks MOOK for what you said to me, it was really nice of you and I'm glad the camp changes you as well :P

Day4
Basically it was farewell to my Garung GUNI

A 4 days 3 night camp seem long at the start but when everything ends, the feeling disappear and it became why is it so short.
Always be appreciative of one another, you had the toughest test of the lots doing pumping,buddha clap,monster inc all at one row,this kind of endurance and hardship is only endured by each of you here and it couldnt be any better without any of your encourage and the spirit you had put in.
Campfire was great, I'm proud of all of you for being so sporting especially Gavin and Zhang Xin. Our skit was indeed a uniques one, no one had similar ideas as yours. It was entertaining and with a great choir at the back, the impact which I told you before campfire was archieved.
Last but not least, in a camp, its not so much on what you get at the end but more of what you learnt and felt during the process. Cherish each moment you have :)

It was really fun and enjoyable this 4days, being in st john,I was also exhausted but you all give me the strength,the spirit and the wonderful performance. I really appreciate the different help you all gave one another or gave me during camp and the spirit you had. We had our ups and downs but I'm glad its just going to be up up and AWAYYYYY :)
Once again I thanks all of you and I will miss each one of you even though I still have problem remembering all your names. Always remember
