TAMPINES SECONDARY SCHOOL CAMP
2ND-4TH June 2008
The Final Camp
DAY1
Started the camp by being late for 30minutes with Baoyun,Patrick and Wei Jie. Met my group which was class 2T1, I guess we had the least number of people with 26 in total and luckily I had the nosier peeps in my group.
Basically,we only had nature rumble for day1 and no general station because they are good in delaying time so left like 15minutes, so just do campfire prep instead, no harm deal.
Had kidnap in the night and we won after 3 tries. KUDOSSS.
DAY 2
ISS was late so all activities wer pushed back and with all the briefing , I left just 8minutes to get my campers up there so in the end I cleared only 4 of them before proceeding on for campfire preparation which was rather a slow process. Anyway, had abseiling after that.
CRC for the next 4 hours before campfire prep again.
And end of the night with campfire, it was an emotional campfire. I cried for the memories. Anyway ,my group performed Low by flo rida, it was quite a nice dance.
Camped ended on the 3rd day with cleaning, was lucky to be cleaning the dining hall instead.
To my class 2T1 : Always remember that all of you are stars but question how bright do you want yourself to be. Its not that you are dumb that why you are in N/T, its just about the acadamic qualification. Your attitude and character are more important that result. Dont ever think you are stupid, cause if you do, then you really stupid. I believe in all of you to do well in whatever you do, so stop that thinking and be more confident, I will always root for you.
It had been a great camp with all of you, full of fun and laughter had 6 great leaders with you at all times, I will cherish the times we had:)

I remember my first campfire performnance from clementi woods sec, haha, it was an mimic of what happen in class and due to some reason ,I thought I wont be doing camp again but I was wrong it was the start of many camps. For tamp sec camp, somehow, I decided to be low profile, haha, I guess its just something you will become as time pass, you only rah rah when necessary and your group is more important I guess.
I realise I grew so much in the way I think,the way I educate and handle my student and due to NS, I had to leave when I feel that I'm on the peak, espeically in terms of making my student learnt. I was quite previledge to be here since last year.
Just sad to say that the instructor dynamics is no longer there, nowadays, it seem like only a particular group of instructor enjoying themselves, I miss the dynamic I felt last year and handful of camps this year. But nevertheless,I still met quite a number of great friends I had like Jeremy He, Terence,Xiao Wei,Parick,BaoYun,Shahul,Meiqi and Kelvin lam who was my buddy before who got into campha.
And for the last time, my next camp is a 2 years camp with Singapore Police Force. Will be posting photos soon :P
