12th september , the black day of my family, My paternal grandma passed away suddenly. Was in class when Nas told me that OC wanna see me in a minute so rushed up and with a serious tone, he asked me if my grandma passed on. I was surprise so called my mum and she was weeping so that conclude it. It was a sudden death, really it was a sudden one. None of us expected it as she was still quite healthy doing her routine stuff,going church, taking care of Jun Hong and Xiao Qing. Anyway, rush to CGH after that where I saw my grandma lying peacefully.
Next day went to the wake and stayed there for the whole day all the way till 6am Sunday before rushing back home .And it was dumb that I had to book in on Sunday and was allowed to leave at 6pm until next day 9pm. So left for the wake, it was a 1 and a half hour journey from HTA to Pasir Ris, stayed there till late before catching some sleep back home.
Today was cremation day. The scene was quite emotional and I certainly felt the family warmth and love from each other. My grandma has been a great lady, I will miss the days where she will call me "Ah Ren...." And telling me thing or asking how am I doing. I will always remember those time when she rang and tell me "YOU KONG YAO LAI HOR" Meaning visit her when we are free. For her, a christian believer, she is moving on to another life so hopefully, she is enjoying herself spiritually in the other world.
