NP PMC CampT Monday, March 16, 2009
Had a call pass 12midnight while I was having duty and Eunice asked me to be an instructor for the NP camp so I agreed.
Went down to BTP at like 11 plus , meeting my groups. ACES. with 2 OC Rainy and Jonas. Was quite happy to be doing this camp since I had to back out from the camp last year.
It was quite fun actually, seeing them learning and crapping with one another. We played Dry rafting and Candlelight war for day1. 2 activities that help to bonded the group together cause I really see them going all out and protecting each other during the 2 action-packed games. Whether we win or lose, they never complaint but encourage each other. It was being part of a SL I guess.
Candle light war was the game that Jonas got his nickname of being the BLOWER. There was once when all 3 groups were seen attacking us.I was quite astounded by it then I realise, Only Aces was left with 1 baloon and the rest had theirs destroyed. GOOD JOB :)
Next day, we had amazing race in the morning.I like the pace the group go. The group are more concern about doing things as a group and not rush even though there were hiccups during the process but we can rectify it. Went back the first team and we started all the camWhoring and stuff again :) .
After that edurance training with me leading and treating them like how we were treated in NS. It was abit fun honestly, to whack them left right centre. For the guys I would say, Just endure, u are going to NS . For the ladies , OPPZ SORRY :P Instructions from higher authority hehe. Ended with squeeze and spread, it was physically tiring. I could have ate a cow after that. Most of us ended with cuts and bruise everywhere.
Had campfire and I thought ACES was great again, the highness of Aces was excellent I should say:) . BOOM BOOM BOOM :)
Lastly, Maybe I was quite rusty already in a way for its my first time taking a group since June last year before enlistment. But I hope I still did the best I can. And being a former poly student as well as an SL for freshies before helped me in interacting with them and hopefully whatever that I brief was related to them as well.
